Kremmling, Colorado
The town of Kremmling is a beautiful Colorado mountain community with year-round activities. They are proud of their rustic appeal and authentic western heritage. Big rivers and big game make this a perfect basecamp for an outdoor lifestyle. Surrounded by wide-open public lands, our community enjoys access to motorsports, hunting, hiking, camping, fishing, boating, and more. Kremmling is situated less than an hour’s drive from several major ski resorts such as Steamboat, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Winter Park. While most people think of skiing when it comes to the mountains of Colorado, you're more likely to see locals riding horses and 4-wheelers than snowboards in this cozy and rustic town. Founded in 1881, Kremmling's population currently sits at about 1,500 residents.
The Church Plant / Replant
Kremmling has had 3 churches close their doors in the last two years. With very little gospel presence, this town is ripe and ready for a new church and engaging gospel ministry. In 2022, Gore Range Baptist Church closed its doors. The building is in great shape and the High-Country Hub currently cares for the property until a new church plant is ready to utilize the facilities for gospel ministry once again. There continue to be several individuals and families from the former Gore Range Baptist Church that would celebrate a new gospel work in Kremmling and may be interested in and candidates for a core team.
*Exciting update: We have identified the new church planters for Kremmling! Moose and Tara Clark have served in various ministries in Texas and are excited to move with their one-year-old son to Kremmling to plant a new church in the former Gore Range Baptist Church. Moose graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with an MTS degree in May of 2022. The Clark family will be moving to Fraser, CO for a 8-month apprenticeship with Valley Life Church and will be starting a new gospel work in Kremmling in the Summer of 2024.
