VLC Ministry House

In 2006, Valley Life Church purchased the adjacent property now know as the "Ministry House." Built in 1998 as a traditional residence, it was later converted into two separate apartments. The Ministry House has traditionally served multiple purposes: to provide affordable housing for local residents who serve in leadership roles within the church and to provide free housing as compensation for church staff. With the birth of the High-Country Hub, the ministry house will take on an additional role: church planting residency program.

The Ministry House affords the Hub the opportunity to bring potential planters and their families in for a 1-2 year apprenticeship and training to prepare them to plant or replant a church in the high country of Colorado. The Ministry House is a place where those in training can live for free to help overcome the high cost of living of mountain and resort towns.

The House

While the house has been a great resource for Valley Life Church, we want to make some cosmetic and structural changes to better accommodate church planting residents and their families. We need individuals and churches who would like to donate to help cover the cost of the needed additions and remodels as well as teams with construction experience to help us complete the planned work.

When Valley Life purchased the house, they also acquired an acre of land that sits behind the house and next to the church parking lot. We are currently exploring options to utilize that land to build additional housing and ministry space. Stay tuned for more details on how you could also be involved in this amazing potential.

I'm interested in supporting the ministry house through giving or serving.

I'm interested in being a church planting resident and living in the ministry house.

I want to hear more about other ministries, towns, and opportunities in the high country.
